I painted my hallway and living room in a flash. I ordered a second one so I'd not be without one ever again.

Works good. I was able to paint my bedroom walls a lot faster that with a roller. You only need to follow all the instructions to get it to work properly for you.

Great

Takes a little getting used to. I painted a room twice (with roller and brush) and it was time consuming and still needed a coat. Remembered I had this and whizzed thru the whole room in less than a hour

I have painted our rental house interior 3 times, and our home once with the painting tool. I am buying another only because I let someone else use it and they let paint dry on it which ruined the pads.

If you wash it well after each use, it will last a long time. And as others have mentioned, it has a little learning curve, but once you figure out how to use it properly, it works like a dream.

I can paint all the walls in a whole house in a day, and have proven this multiple times.

I purchased the kit and have used it on three different projects, washing out the pads and reusing them. It is still possible to get paint on edges, so still have to watch for that, however the actually painting of the walls was great. I painted in different directions and the walls ended up smooth without showing streaking. Very pleased and have ordered another kit.

practice first

If you've done paint projects in the past and have a good handle on the right amount of paint to use on a flat pad or put some practice in before using, this is so helpful. It can be drippy and it is much thinner a coat than a standard roller so you'll need to go over it more but it does reduce line cleanups.

Very gooood!

I used this pads for very long, on so rugged surfaces, at least 10 times of use, in approx 60m2 and still using one brush pad (using water based paints of course).
I lost one brush cause do not clean the pad very well and paint get dry on it.
When painting, do not apply pressure over the system. Brush soft and smooth, and no use the point side straight to advance.

Works Very Well

This is a great product! I used it to paint my master bathroom and it came out so well that when I showed a neighbor she said it looked professionally done. I was able to quickly get the hang of things and once I did the painting was a snap. I started by edging using the smaller unit, and once I did that I moved to the larger one to cover larger surfaces more quickly. The small unit was GREAT for going around the shower head fixture in the wall and other areas. I did remove all outlet as a precaution. Once everything was dry, I did use an edger brush to get close to the cabinets but if used properly, this will give great results!!! Give yourself time to get the hang of it, and make sure not to overload the paint pads. GREAT and easy clean-up. I will be buying another as a spare.

I have bought 4 of these and will never again paint without one!!

The painting tool is a work of GENIUS!! I just purchased my 4th one and will be purchasing my fifth. I wish the replacement pads were xheaper but really, it pays to just buy a whole new set. My daughter, SIL, and friend had a chance to use mine and they will also never paint without one. VERY great tool for people with repetitive motion injury and don't enjoy the pain and inflamation caused by painting with a roller (bending, unbending elbows). For others, it it a great tool to have for areas that you can't use a roller. LOVE IT!!!!

Wife loves this.

I bought this product to replace an old one that finally wore out. My wife does all the inside painting (which I hate to do) and when the old one finally wore out, I didn't hesitate to find a replacement. The alternative may have been me doing it. I checked locally but none carry it. Found this to be the best price. It came within a week (from China) in a box encased in tape. Took a bit to open and had to cut the box in half to get it out. I used my old box to house this new replacement, but would recommend paying a few dollars more from another seller if you need the box.

If's not a miracle product, but I love it!

I LOVE this product! I have used it to paint our entire basement (about 1000 sf), a stairway and most recently a bedroom. It's so much easier and faster than using a roller - I painted all four walls with this faster than I painted the ceiling with a roller. I've found that with a tinted primer followed by paint (which you're supposed to do anyway), I have no issues with streaking or marking and it doesn't use as much paint as a roller either. Clean up is easier too. I agree with some users that it does not edge as well as the commercial, but it gets me close enough that I can follow up with an angled brush to get a great edge. I don't mind edging with a brush so maybe that's why I like this product better than others. I have found that the smaller pad works better for edging since you have more control. As for dripping, it's important not to put too much paint on the pad or squish it up against the wall. After using the pad, I hate using rollers!

This product is great! Please read the directions and it will work perfectly. A lot better than a roller. This is my second set. I moved and couldn't find my first one. I painted my daughter's room with the first set. It came out great! I was really happy with the purchase and how easy it was to use.

I am an apt manager, I use this product when it comes to painting. It is fast and easy and without the mess. The only thing I don't like is that they give you two large pads and 2 small ones. I don't use the small ones and wish I could only order the large pads.

Great for painting projects

Great for painting the inside doors. It applies a thick coat evenly. My door is three dimensional which I found difficult to evenly paint so I purchased this small tool and I painted three doors faster than one with a paint brush.

Fuzzy Wuzzies everywhere.

My sister and I used this system to paint several rooms and her garage when she moved into her new house years ago. It worked well but it has a learning curve. Once you learn its limitations, how to load it and work it, you will be happier.

♦Prep: When you get the system, you must clean it. Vacuum it aggressively and well. There are zillions of hairs/fuzzies loose on the pads. Then wash the pads well under running water. You do not want these stuck in your wet paint.

♦Pads: The pads are the weakest point of the system. Aside from the fuzzies, they are on the flimsy side and do not want to fit under the tabs well. It is also difficult at times to determine if they are actually under the tabs. After using them a while, the plastic is not as firm and they do not want to snap snuggly into place. The tip also tends to bend/stick out some. They do hold paint well, but you don't want them to hold paint. With this system, you want to use as little paint as possible on the pads or it will drip and make a big mess. Keep a rag to wipe the edges often.

♦Handles: The handles are plastic. I know not to attempt using an extension, so even though the big pad has one, I just ignore it. It does not work and that is something I accept. The little handle snaps into the bigger handle.

♦Tray: Best part of the system. Well built, easy to use, nice big spreader, easy to clean. You can hold the side to keep it from rolling to help get excess paint off the sponge pads.

Remember, clean it really, really well. Do not overload the pads, use minimal paint. Wipe often to avoid runs. Don't even bother with the extension. Clean well after using.
